Friday? Fri-yay!The first day of summer vacation is also the longest day of the year, but never fear! We've got activities from 8 am to 9 pm to keep your family entertained nearly dawn to dusk.
Indoor Playground 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (crawlers through age 5 at Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion)
Kaleidoscope Play & Learn 10:30 am - noon (children ages 0-5 at Shoreline Family Support Center)
Indoor Playtime 12:30 pm - 8:00 pm (children ages 1-5 at Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center)
Drop in anytime between 10 am and 1 pm with children ages 3-7 for "Brilliant Birds," a fun nature exploration with an activity and a craft. ($10/family)
Camp Creativity at Michael's (Alderwood, Interbay, Kirkland, or Everett) | Friday, June 21, 10:00 am - noon
Give your kids ages 3 & up screen-free fun making "Safari Slime"! $3/child per 30 minute session. Follow the link above for the path to sign up in advance for all M, W, F sessions through the end of July.
Preschool-age children listen to a story and paint along in this free 30-minute class. Advance registration is not required but is appreciated.
Free, family-friendly event (including face painting) held at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park.
Enjoy watching the setting sun while doing a 3-mile evening stroll around the parks and streets of Richmond Beach.
Saturday is Full of Food, Fun, and Family Outings!
Free breakfast, live firefighter demonstrations, and opportunities to tour aid vehicles. Fun for all ages at Station 51 in Kenmore!
Children age 3 and older can run a lap to win an award and celebrate diversity at the Ballard Community Center. ($5/runner)
Learn about hummingbird habits, habitats, and feeding sources from a local bird expert at Wild Birds Unlimited in Lake Forest Park.
Storytime and Activities Featuring Toy Story 4: Forky in Craft Buddy Day | Saturday, June 22, 11: am - noon
Story time and activities at the Northgate Barnes & Noble, featuring stylized illustrations from a Pixar artist and a hilarious story by Drew Daywalt, author of The Day the Crayons Quit.
Upper elementary kids and tweens can try a VR headset and learn to code their own Ozobots at the Edmonds Library.
Families will find pony rides, face painting, and bouncy house, plus many demonstrations and free food at Calvin Presbyterian in the Richmond Beach neighborhood.

Sunday's Activities Bring Communities Together to Connect, Support, and Celebrate!
Community gathering for all at Paramount School Park, sponsored by the Baha'is of Shoreline. Bring your picnic and your family/friends to share it with.
Donate hygiene items when shopping at the Lake City Fred Meyer.
Food trucks, carnival games, music, and more at the Oak Tree Village Shopping Center, with free admission.
