Apr 22, 2019 04:20PM ● By Rachel Belfield
For many families with younger kids, we may want to take our children to see a high school sporting event, but we don't know where to start.

Shoreline Public Schools athletic director Don Dalziel sent along this helpful write-up of what events charge admission, which typically have concessions available, and other smart tips for supporting local athletes and opening children's eyes to the opportunities ahead.
  • The district does not charge admission for our baseball and softball games. There typically is not concessions at these games either.
  • For our home football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and soccer games we charge admission: $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and students.  Shoreline HS students in for free with ASB card. (only cash is typically accepted)
  • No admission for all other sports.
  • For contests that occur in our high school gyms (volleyball, basketball, wrestling) each schools boosters clubs opens its concession stand.
  • For contests at the stadium (soccer, football, and track and field) the concession stand is open for these events. (they typically accept cash or card)

So... where to find a game, match, or meet?

The WESCO athletic conference maintains all the sports schedules to keep them updated for all schools in the area.
